Forms have been rebuilt as their own app. A Vonza form is now a page you can write with Vonza AI or start from a template, then send as a link, embed on any website or open as a popup, with logic, quizzes, payments and a full responses view behind it. This post walks through what is in the new Vonza Forms and links to the pages that cover each part in detail.
How to try the new Forms
If your account still has classic forms, you will see a banner in Forms that reads "New Forms available" with a Try the new Forms button. Click it to open the new app. Your classic forms keep working, and you can switch back any time.
Create a form with Vonza AI
Click to create a form, give it a name and choose how to begin. Create with Vonza AI asks you to describe the form in a sentence or two, such as "Registration for a kids' soccer camp with allergies and a photo consent". Vonza AI then writes the questions, picks the right blocks and styles the form, and you see it in a live preview before you use it.
Everything it writes stays editable. Creating with Vonza AI uses AI credits, and the wizard tells you roughly how much before you start. Read more on the AI form builder page.
61 templates in 12 categories
Prefer to start from something finished? Start from a template offers 61 photographic templates in 12 categories: contact and leads, events and bookings, orders and payments, surveys and feedback, quizzes, applications and intake, education, memberships, donations, HR, support, and legal and consent. There is a wedding RSVP, a client intake, a custom cake order, a job application, an activity waiver and many more.
Built a form you want to reuse? Save it as a template and it appears under "Your templates" next time. Browse them all in the form templates gallery.
A few to start from: a membership application form, a donation form that takes one-time or monthly gifts, and a support request form that collects what your team needs to help.
More than 40 blocks
The editor is drag and drop with a live preview, and it saves as you go. Besides name, email, phone and address, there are blocks for multiple choice, checkboxes, dropdowns, picture choice, a matrix grid, ranking, rating, linear scales and sliders, dates and times, file uploads, a drawn signature, a repeating group (for guests or team members), calculated values, hidden fields and a consent box. Layout blocks add headings, text, images, video, audio and dividers.
One question at a time
Turn on One question at a time and each question gets its own screen, with Enter to continue, like a chat. Add a welcome screen with a title and a start button. People can pick options with letter keys, and one-tap questions move on by themselves.
Logic and recall
Logic rules work as "when this, then that, otherwise that". A rule can show, hide or require a question, skip to a later page, end the form early on a different thank-you screen, set a value or calculate a total with a formula. Rules can test answers, scores and the parameters in the form's link. You can also recall an earlier answer in later questions, such as greeting people by their first name. See conditional logic in forms for worked examples.
Quizzes with scoring
Switch on Quiz mode, tick the right option on each question and give it points. Set a pass mark, show the score after submit and, if you like, the right answers. Personality-style quizzes work too, where each option adds to a score. The quiz maker page and the guide to making a scored quiz cover the details.
Payments, add-ons and codes
Add a Payment step and choose from seven price types: one-time, subscription, recurring for a set number of payments, instalments, flexible, pay what you want, or free. Instalment and flexible prices are available on eligible plans. Add up to 5 add-ons next to the pay button, a code box for discount codes, and one extra line for shipping, a processing fee, a service charge or a tip.
Buyers pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Klarna through Stripe, with PayPal for one-time payments, or with Paystack for sellers in naira. From a response you can pause, resume or stop a recurring payment (not for Paystack payments). More on the payment forms page.
Agreement and signature blocks
The agreement block shows your terms or a linked PDF, asks people to agree and, if you want, to sign. A separate signature block lets anyone draw a signature on the form. Both suit waivers, consent forms and client agreements.
Share, embed and trigger
Every form has its own link at /f/your-form-name on your site, plus a QR code you can download. To put it on a website, choose Inline, Popup, Slider (a slide-in panel) or Floating (a button that stays in the corner). Popups and slide-ins can open from a button, after a delay, when visitors scroll halfway down, or when they move to leave. The embed guide shows where to paste the code.
Contacts, automations and webhooks
Every respondent who leaves an email becomes a contact in your CRM, tagged with up to 10 tags you choose. An automation that starts when a contact fills the form can enrol them in a course, start an email sequence or add them to a list. Need another app? Webhooks post each response to Zapier, Make or your own server, signed and retried if they fail.
Notifications and a PDF of answers
You get an email for every response (or only paid ones), and up to 5 people on your team can get the same email. Respondents can get a confirmation email with their answers attached as a PDF.
Responses and analytics
Responses open in a table or as cards, with search, filters and tabs for paid, awaiting payment, partial and spam. Mark each one New, In progress or Done, add team notes, export to CSV or Excel, or download any response as a PDF. The analytics page shows views, starts, completion rate, average time, revenue, devices, traffic sources and the page where most people leave.
Save and finish later
Long form? Turn on Let people continue later and respondents can save their answers and get a private link to finish within 30 days. Turn on Keep unfinished responses to see what people started but did not send. The guide to multi-step forms explains both.
Limits, scheduling and spam
Close a form after a set number of responses, open and close it on a schedule, allow one response per person, and block spam with an invisible check or reCAPTCHA. Each form also has its own page title, description and share image, and a switch to hide it from search engines.
30 languages
Offer a form in up to 10 of 30 languages. Visitors see the language their browser prefers, or the one in the link, and AI translation fills in the text for you using AI credits. Right-to-left text is supported for Arabic, Urdu and Hebrew.
