Online Quiz Maker with scoring and results

A quiz maker lets you build a quiz people take online and get scored on. With Vonza Forms you tick the right answers or give each answer points, set a pass mark, and show the score and the right answers the moment the quiz is sent.

What is a quiz maker?

A quiz maker is a tool for building quizzes that people answer online and get a score for. You write the questions, mark the right answers or give each answer points, and the tool works out the score when the quiz is sent.

In Vonza, a quiz is a form with Quiz mode switched on. It uses the same builder as every Vonza form, so a quiz can run one question at a time, carry your brand, and turn every taker who leaves an email into a contact in your CRM.

Build a quiz that scores itself

Mark the answers on the canvas, switch on what takers should see, and Vonza does the counting.

  • Points per answer

Tick the right option on any choice question and set what it is worth, or give every option its own points for a personality-style quiz.

  • A pass mark

Switch on Pass mark and set the percentage. It starts at 70%, and every result is marked Passed or Not passed.

  • The score and the right answers

Show the score after submit, and choose whether takers also see which answers were right, with the right answer under each one they missed.

  • Results that depend on the score

Recall the score in the thank-you text with {{score}} and {{max_score}}, or let a score rule pick one of up to 10 thank-you screens.

Everything your quiz needs

A Vonza quiz is a full Vonza form, so it gets every form feature as well as its score.

  • One question at a time

Each question on its own screen, with a welcome screen and Enter to continue.

  • The answer key stays private

The right answers never reach the taker’s browser. The score is worked out after the quiz is sent.

  • A Score column in Responses

Points and pass or fail for every taker, and Correct or Incorrect on each answer.

  • The score in your inbox

Your response email shows the score. A taker’s confirmation email and PDF include it when the quiz shows it to them.

  • Five question types that score

Multiple choice, checkboxes, dropdown, picture choice and multi-select.

  • Your brand on every screen

23 themes, 10 fonts, cover and split layouts, and your logo.

  • Share it anywhere

A link to the quiz on your site, a QR code, or an embed: inline, popup, slide-in or floating button.

  • Export the results

Download responses as CSV or Excel, or any single response as a PDF.

Quizzes that grow your email list

People enjoy finding out their result, so a quiz is one of the friendliest ways to ask for an email. In Vonza the quiz, your contacts and the follow-up live in the same account.

  • Every quiz taker who leaves an email becomes a contact in your CRM. Existing contacts keep their details.
  • Tag everyone who takes the quiz with up to 10 tags, so you know where they came from.
  • Start an automation when a contact fills the quiz: enrol them in a course, start an email sequence or add them to a list.
  • Send every response to Zapier, Make or your own server with signed webhooks that retry if they fail.

Quiz templates to start from

Questions about the quiz maker

An online quiz maker is a tool for building quizzes that people take in a browser and get scored on. You write the questions, mark the right answers or give answers points, and the tool scores each attempt. In Vonza, any form becomes a quiz when you switch on Quiz mode.

A choice question scores in one of two ways. With an answer key, you tick the right option and a right answer earns its points, 1 unless you change it. With points per option, each option carries points and the chosen ones add up. Multiple choice, checkboxes, dropdown, picture choice and multi-select can all be scored.

Yes. Switch on Pass mark in the quiz settings and set a percentage from 0 to 100. It starts at 70%. Each result is then marked Passed or Not passed on the score screen and in Responses.

Yes, if you allow it. “Show the score after submit” puts a score screen on the thank-you page with the percentage and points. “Show the right answers” adds a right or wrong mark for each question and the right answer under each one they missed.

Yes. Give each option points instead of a single right answer, then write the result around the score: recall it in the thank-you text with {{score}} and {{max_score}}, or add a score rule on the last page that picks one of up to 10 thank-you screens. The “Which coffee are you?” template works this way.

Yes. Every quiz taker who leaves an email becomes a contact in your Vonza CRM, tagged with the tags you choose for the quiz (the same tags for everyone who takes it). An automation that starts when a contact fills the quiz can enrol them in a course, start an email sequence or add them to a list.

In the form’s Responses, where a Score column shows each taker’s points and pass or fail, and each response marks every answer Correct or Incorrect. Your response email shows the score too, and you can export responses to CSV or Excel.

A Forms quiz is a stand-alone quiz you share by link, QR code or embed, built for training, trivia and lead generation. Course quizzes live inside a Vonza course, with attempts, retakes and grading, and can be required before the next lesson or for a certificate.
