A fan community platform for creators, on your own site

Give your fans one place to hang out with you: behind-the-scenes posts, stories, polls and live streams, with paid memberships through Stripe and Paystack. Start from the Creator fan club template or let Vonza AI draft it. Fans join from your own site and use it on any phone, in the browser.

What your fans come back for

A fan community lives on small, frequent moments. These are the three most creators use first.

  • Stories and polls

Post a photo or a 15-second clip that stays up for 24 hours, with a text overlay and a button to a link or a space. Ask fans to vote in polls with up to 10 options and see who voted. You decide whether members can post stories too.

    • Go live inside the community

Press Go live in the composer and a live post appears in the feed. Stream with camera, mic and screen share; fans tap Join room, and the recording can go back to the feed afterwards.

    • Paid memberships and paid spaces

Keep the Hangout free and charge for Behind the scenes, or put the whole community behind one plan. Subscriptions, one-time prices and pay what you want, with checkout through Stripe and Paystack.

Everything a creator community runs on

The same community module every Vonza site has, set up the way creators and their fans use it.

  • The Creator fan club template

Three spaces ready to edit: Behind the scenes, Hangout and Fan creations, with a community description you can rewrite.

  • Create with Vonza AI

Say who your fans are and pick a tone. Vonza AI drafts spaces, welcome posts and images, and nothing is public until you publish.

  • Events for fans

Run a Q&A, a live stream or a meetup. Fans RSVP, add it to their calendar and get reminder emails before it starts.

  • Points, levels and a leaderboard

Fans earn a point for each post, comment and reaction, climb your levels and see the top three on the podium.

  • Affiliates who promote it

Turn your biggest fans into affiliates with a commission per sale, as a percentage or a fixed amount.

  • Courses and digital products

Link a course, a bundle or a digital product such as a brush pack to the whole community or to one space, and fans find it in the Classroom.

  • A sales page from four templates

Original, Standard, Stage or Rail, on your own site, with a link, a QR code and an embed to share.

  • Works on any phone

Fans open the community in the browser on any phone, with nothing to install. Section chips and a Spaces menu fit the small screen.

  • Messages and notifications

Fans message each other one to one, and email and in-app notifications bring them back to new posts and replies.

Reward the fans who show up most

Your most active fans should feel it. Every post, comment and reaction earns points, levels give them something to reach for, and the leaderboard puts the top three on a podium everyone can see.

  • One point for every post, comment and new reaction
  • Levels that can unlock a course, a digital product or a reward you describe
  • Ranks earned by time in the community, each with a badge
  • A leaderboard for all time or the last 30 days

How to start a fan community in four steps

From an empty account to a community your fans can join, in one sitting.

  • STEP 01

Start from the fan club template

Pick Creator fan club for three ready spaces, or choose Create with Vonza AI and describe your fans. Rename or delete anything.

  • STEP 02

Decide what is free and what is paid

Connect Stripe or Paystack, add a membership plan and mark the spaces it unlocks. Free plans work without a payment account.

  • STEP 03

Pick a sales page and publish

Choose one of four sales-page templates, check the publish list and go live. Nothing is public until you publish.

  • STEP 04

    Post first, then invite fans

Add a welcome post, a story and a poll, then share the link, QR code or embed wherever your fans already follow you.

How creators use a fan community

A community platform is only the room. Here is what creators need from it, how to open the doors and how to keep fans coming back, with the Vonza tools for each.

What creators need from a community platform

  • Your brand, not the platform’s. The community and its sales page live on your own site, in your colours, with your logo or initials and a cover. Fans see you, not a marketplace.

  • Easy for fans to join and use. Fans join from the sales page and use the community on any phone, in the browser. There is nothing to download first.

  • More than one way to earn. Memberships, paid spaces, courses and digital products sit in one place, so a fan who joins for free can buy more later.

  • A safe, private space. Make joining By approval with membership questions, keep spaces private, and handle reports from a moderation queue with banned words and approval of first posts.

  • Numbers you can act on. Analytics show revenue and recurring revenue, new and active members, engagement and your top posts and spaces.

How to start a creator community

  1. Decide who it is for. Name the fans you want and what they get here that they cannot get from your public posts: early looks, a say in what you make, time with you.

  2. Choose free, paid or both. A common setup is a free Hangout everyone can join and a paid Behind the scenes space for supporters.

  3. Start with a few spaces. Three spaces are easier to keep busy than ten. The Creator fan club template starts you with three.

  4. Post before you invite. A welcome post, a poll and a story give the first fans something to answer. Post ideas offers starters such as Welcome and Behind the scenes.

  5. Invite fans from where they already are. Share the link, QR code or embed on your channels. Members can pass an invite link on by email, WhatsApp or the phone’s share sheet.

How to keep fans engaged

  • Mix the formats. Alternate posts, stories, polls, live streams and events so there is always something new in the feed.

  • Keep a weekly rhythm. The posting cadence schedules an Intro Monday, a Question Wednesday and a Win Friday in one go.

  • Make fans part of the work. Use the Fan creations space for their art and covers, and let polls decide what you make next.

  • Reward the regulars. Points, levels and the leaderboard show who shows up, and a level can unlock a reward.

  • Meet them live. A monthly Q&A, a live studio session or a meetup gives fans a date to come back for, with reminder emails before it starts.

It is a place you run for your fans, outside social media feeds: they join, post, comment and react, and you decide what is free and what is paid. On Vonza it includes spaces and rooms, a feed with stories and polls, live streams, events, one-to-one chat, points and levels, and a sales page on your own site, next to your courses and digital products.

Name your community, then choose how to begin: Create with Vonza AI, Start from a template or Start blank. The Creator fan club template sets up Behind the scenes, Hangout and Fan creations. Customize the look, then publish when the checklist is done: a name, at least one space, an icon or colour, and who can join. Create with Vonza AI uses AI credits, which are included on every plan, with top-ups available.

Yes. Add plans to the community or to one space: free, one-time, subscription (weekly, monthly or yearly), recurring, installment, flexible or pay what you want, with an optional free trial on subscription and installment plans. Fans pay at checkout through Stripe or Paystack; you need a connected Stripe or Paystack account to create paid plans.

Yes. Spaces work like forum sections and rooms like channels inside them. Fans write posts with a title, photos, videos and polls, reply in comments one level deep, tag topics with hashtags, mention each other and react with Like, Love, Haha or Wow. You can pin, schedule and close comments on any post.

Yes. Go live from the post composer and a live post appears in the feed; you stream with camera, mic and screen share, and fans tap Join room. The recording can be posted to the feed after the stream. You can also schedule Q&A, live stream and meetup events with RSVPs and reminder emails 24 hours, 30 minutes and 5 minutes before.

No. Your community works on any phone, in the browser, with section chips and a Spaces menu built for small screens, in light and dark mode. Fans get email and in-app notifications and choose how often the digest and chat emails arrive.

Members can share an invite link by copy, email, WhatsApp or their phone’s share sheet. You can also run an affiliate program for the community that pays a commission per sale, as a percentage or a fixed amount, and invite your biggest fans as affiliates.
