No. Streaming runs inside Vonza: you start or schedule a stream from your dashboard and your audience joins from your site, with camera, microphone, screen sharing and chat built in. ### Can I schedule a stream and remind people? Yes. Set the date, time, timezone and duration (at least 10 minutes), add an end date for a multi-day event, add co-hosts and invitees or upload a CSV of email addresses, and write a reminder email that goes out before the stream. ### Are streams recorded? They can be. Each stream has options to auto-record, to share the recording automatically when it ends, and to enable a transcript. Recordings can be renamed, shared with recipients or deleted from the recordings list. ### How are streaming minutes counted? Every Vonza plan includes monthly streaming credits, measured in participant-minutes, and you can buy more at any time. If the limit is reached mid-stream the live stream continues uninterrupted; the system blocks creating a new stream until credits are topped up. ### Can I make a stream private? Yes. A stream is public or private; a private stream can require a passcode, and you can require host admission so people wait in a waiting room until you let them in. You can also keep participants on listen-only. ## Related pages - [Community Platform](https://vonza.com/best-community-platform): Bring your members together with posts, events, live sessions, and private spaces. - [Online Courses](https://vonza.com/free-online-courses-platform): Attach a live stream to a course lecture so students join from the lesson itself. - [Vonza School](https://vonza.com/school): Seamlessly create, manage and host high-quality live teaching video streams, webinars and trainings. - [Appointment Scheduling](https://vonza.com/free-online-appointment-scheduling): For one-to-one calls, let people book a time and meet on Zoom, Google Meet or Teams.
