# Cake Order Form Template > A playful two-step order for a bakery: the cake first, with size, flavour, decorations and the message to pipe on top, then the pickup date and time and the customer’s contact details. A Orders & payments template in the new Vonza Forms, “Custom cake order”: Playful blush split screen: the cake first, then pickup. ## What a cake order form is for A cake order form takes a custom order the way a baker would at the counter: size, flavour, decorations, the message on top and when it will be collected. Getting it in writing means fewer “was it lemon or vanilla?” phone calls. This template starts with the cake and leaves the contact details for the second step. Sizes say how many each cake serves, the message is capped at 40 characters so it fits on the cake, and pickup times are limited to opening hours. It takes the order without payment: the thank-you screen recalls the flavour and promises the price by email, which suits cakes that are priced by hand. ### Who uses it - Home bakers and cake studios taking custom orders. - Bakeries and cafés that want orders with a pickup slot. - Dessert, cookie and cupcake sellers taking event orders. - Caterers taking orders for a celebration or office event. ## What’s in the template Every question exactly as the template builds it, page by page. These are the ones this form uses. 1. **The response arrives in Responses**: Each response opens with every answer, the device and the time it took. Export all or some of them to CSV or Excel, or download one as a PDF. 2. **You and your team are told**: The email to you goes to you and up to five teammates on every response, with all the answers or a message you write, plus an in-app notification. 3. **The respondent becomes a CRM contact**: Everyone who leaves an email (here, “Email”) becomes a contact in your Vonza CRM, tagged with up to ten tags you choose. Existing contacts keep their details. 4. **They get a confirmation**: Turn on the email to the respondent, with your own subject and message, and attach their answers as a PDF. 5. **Automations and webhooks take over**: Use “Contact fills this form” in Automations to enrol people in a course, start an email sequence or add them to a list, or post each response to Zapier, Make or your own server with a webhook. The order lands in Responses with the pickup date and time; filter by date to plan the week’s baking, and download any order as a PDF for the kitchen.
